Ladypool Ain’t No More Cool
The question is, does Blake’s action warrant the blacklash that she is getting? The most recent blacklash against her refers to her abusive and disdainful remarks about the trans-gender community at various points. The previously recorded interviews came into play at the time of the cast of “It Ends With Us.”. The controversy was sparked right after a post of X (formerly Twitter) comprising of Blake’s statement that she gave in an old interview conducted in 2012. In another interview that was published in Elle Magazine, when the celebrity was inquired about her future children, she answered,
“I hope to have a few girls one day. If not girls, they better be trannies. Because I have some amazing shoes, bags, and stories that need to be appreciated.”
The given statement burst the transgender community into anger, who perceived the word ‘tranny’ as pretty contemptuous. Some found this situation extremely feminine, and others relate it to a bad selection of words rather than being genuinely insensitive toward the transgender community. The overall mixed public reaction kept the hard feelings under covers until a number of other sources filled with similar remarks came on surface.
Recovery of similar remarks from another interview that was conducted in 2009 and published in Allure worked as a fuel on fire. Lively’s statement apparently presents her insecurities regarding her bodily features and height. While being on the set of The Gossip Girl, she asserts that
“I feel like a tranny a lot of the time. I don’t know, I’m… large? They put me in six-inch heels, and I tower over every man.”
The statement approved Ladypool’s disregard towards the trans community. These incidents never stopped at this point; instead, these incidents insinuated the public to judge every single step steeply that is being taken by Lively.
Ladypool’s “It Ends With Us” Fiasco
On the promotion of her recent romantic film, “It Ends With Us,” Blake was targeted and criticized for being more focused on presenting her floral faction rather than being concerned about misogynistic domestic abuse presented in the film. Speculations and rumors also highlighted a conflict that erupted between Blake Lively and the director of the film named Justin Baldoni.
The fumes caught the fire when no appearance of Justin Baldoni, the producer, director, and main character of the film, at any promotion events or interviews could be witnessed. It was first noticed and voiced by the influencers on TikTok. Everyone wondered and NewsZemi, What would be the reason? Why would Blake be solely being tagged on social media by the co-stars? Well, the bottom line led to a real-life storyline where Blake was solely being credited for the work despite Justin Baldoni being an excellent director.
Flames arose to its ultimate height when only Justin could be found highlighting and vividly talking about gender-based domestic violence projected in the film and its emotional implications on himself while playing his role. Otherwise, it was not deemed a focal point that could be worthy of discussion by Blake and other actors. The entire internet seethed with anger over Ladypool’s behavior, with countless comments flooding social media as people expressed their outrage, confusion, and disbelief at her actions.
